Frequently Asked Roofing Questions
“What should I expect when requesting a quote by phone or email from Landmark Roofing Ltd?”
Once we receive your request we will contact you within 24 hours to coordinate a visit to your property. We will inspect your roof and gather all of the information we need to provide you with a detailed roofing quotation. At this point we will set up a meeting to discuss options for your upcoming project. It will be at this time that we will detail the exact systems that will work best for your property at various different price points. Once you have decided on a particular investment, we will move forward with coordinating and executing your project.
“How do I know when my roof is ready to be replaced?”
Typical signs for roof replacement will include leaks, visible aesthetic deterioration, pieces of roofing material found around property after a wind storm, other homes in the neighbourhood that were built at the same time having their roofs replaced. However, the best way to determine when the roof needs to be replaced is to contact a professional roofing company such as Landmark Roofing Ltd. to inspect your roofing system and give advice as to how long it may last or when it needs to be replaced.
“What are the approximate costs involved in a roofing renovation?”
Each project we compete is unique. Depending on the type of roof that is existing and what material you choose to replace it with, there will be a wide spectrum of cost. The key though, will be to research what type of materials are available and which one may provide the best overall value and quality for your roof.
“How long does it typically take to re-roof my home”
A normal roofing project will take 2 – 3 days to complete depending on the size and the material being taken of and installed.
“What should I do to prepare for my re-roofing project?”
When we coordinate your roofing project, we ask to have access to your driveway for materials and equipment while work is taking place. We also ask for the use of outside power. If outside power is not available we may use gas generators to power our equipment while work is being completed.
